ST. JOHN PARISH, LA (WAFB) -
Louisiana State Police say two suspects who were shot during a deputy involved shooting in St. John Parish Tuesday night have died.

The suspects, one male and one female, were taken to a hospital after the shooting that happened just before 6:30 in Reserve, La. The shooting happened on Stephens Drive, off Airline Highway in St. John Parish.

Detectives and first responders are on the scene at Coosie RV Park. They are working to investigate the shooting in the midst of Hurricane Isaac approaching.

The deputies were called to the scene in response to a disturbance.

Just two weeks ago, two deputies were shot and two were killed in St. John Parish.

State police are now investigating.

I just heard this on WWL. The state trooper they were interviewing was very casual about the entire event.

I'm glad you reserved judgment on the issue until the full story came out. Some people are just as big cop sunshine pumpers as those who hate the police with a passion.
