Lost power three times today for a total of under 20 minutes.

the wife and i were discussing this earlier today wondering if they might pick up tomorrow..news said baton rouge wasnt gonna have pickup but didnt say anything about ascension..

I doubt they will pick up tomorrow.
I left my trash cans out by the curb all day Tuesday, they never showed.
Disclaimer: just my opinion...I still might put mine out again tonight because if I don't they will definitely pick up tomorrow.

oh..i think we have wast pro..they pick up on monday and thursday..ours got picked up on tuesday..hmm..guess we'll put it out and see

I drove to Airline highway and my phone exploded with voicemail/email/text messages. I drive 1.25 miles back to my house off Hwy 42 and "Searching" or "No Service" is all I can get...

I thought the same thing this morning.
I actually got in touch with ATT customer service earlier today and asked what was going on (because I am dependent on my phone service...)
The chick on the phone told me "Uhh..aren't you more worried about surviving the storm"
I told her to have a nice day and hung up.

Just got a voicemail from Entergy saying my power is out and they can't dispatch until sustained winds in my area are below 35mph.
Well MF'er, my power never went out and I haven't seen more than a soothing gentle breeze in about 4 hours.

Called them on Tuesday (the day my trash is supposed to be picked up) and they said they weren't coming. Also, they said they weren't going to pick up another day to make up for it and i had to wait until next tuesday.
on another note, how is the weather out near 44 and parker rd? Really worried about my house being under water when i get home tomorrow.
