I just wish someone will tell us if we dodged a bullet or if its going to be worse than gustav. frick.

The two aren't mutually exclusive.....

Can be both worse than Gustav (although I'm not saying it is) and dodged a bullet.

For instance, it could have not been held back by dry air and hit BR (not make landfall) as a strong Cat 2/weak 3 as originally projected.

I have Isaac fatigue. Starting Sunday morning this thing has been on a B line right for us. But it's moving at a snail's pace and I'm tired of worrying about it. School's around here let out a day too early, and now if it's rough around here we'll be forced to miss almost all week. Those days have to be made up.

Brah, I am not trolling... It will be the equivalent to Gustav maybe worse. We did not dodge any fricking bullet.

Will see, rainfall and sustained winds if Isaac slows down is the scenario we don't want. He needs to move the frick out!

I never said I was smarter than Shingleton. I'm basing my thoughts off what Jay Grimes said on televsion and to my family (close friend). Believe whatever you want just forewarning you. This is huge and it will be a torrential downpour for 12-24 hours.

Hurricane strength winds now hitting tip of Plaquemines Parish. Water level at top of levee for MS River. West Bank levee big concern too.

What else did Gustav do other than power outages?

Mostly tree damage that lead to blocked roadways and nasty power outages. But the winds were very strong, like Andrew back in '92. I am an old fart and even Remember Betsy. But Andrew and Gustav for BR were something else!
