Moved to Houston in May so this is my first hurricane away from home and it fricking sucks. Hate seeing this happening from the Internet/tv.

The Newstar said they had all 18 pumps up and ready to roll. They even cleared a bunch of ditches and gutters to handle the water. The Mayor is still a piece of shite dickhead, but it looks like he has got everything in place.

BR just took a pretty good hit from Isaac. Maybe we get through this thing w/o widespread power outage.

pretty sure it just started and we haven't gotten anywhere near the worst of what we're supposed to get.
