So far this thing has just turned into a nice little staycation. Have yet to lose power. Still have beer in the keg and it's barely drizzling out. What's gonna happen in the coming hours?

Not sure.... but we are still getting 25+ wind gust and rain in bay saint louis. It calms down for a bit, then it hits the fan again.... been doing that since last night.

A little bit more as long as the storm continues to move NW.

I live right off campus and it's been about 3+ hours since we had strong gusts and heavy rain. I'm assuming it's gonna rotate around and nail us again but so far this whole thing has done nothing but land me a few days off school.

I think it will pick up, but BR has been very lucky so far. Not much damage or flooding yet.

My whole family is in NOLA without power, and my parents' house has been owned by downed trees. Nothing has hit the house directly, but they need help none the less. I can't stand the road closures. I want to drive down and help them. The storm stalling has really fricked them hard.

i think we're going to get more rain bands tomorrow as the eastern side makes its way towards us. I think the winds are done though.

Looks like Baton Rouge is in the clear. It's amazing, I'm barely in Ascension and we've been without power for over a day and it's probably dropped six to seven inches.

I don't see where the outer bands would hit us, the west side of the eye is nothing but dry winds.
