Without the necessary means for a necessary means for a higher education
Even in his 4 or so short years on the scene, people still realized the impact he had on music and how special he was. Listen to the stuff recorded but not released before his death. Unbelievable things would have followed.

If I recall correctly, Andrew's eye went directly over Baton Rouge
Correct. I remember when it did, it was unbelievably calm and quiet.
Music Treasure Chest north of Government. This old black dude runs it and he's cool as shite.

Atomic Pop Shop = A sea of hipster douchebags looking for vinyl they can frame on their wall. If you want cheap vinyl to actually play, check out the treasure chest first.

Best Radio Stations in BR?

All I listen to is 98.1 but their morning radio show is so ridiculous I am going to boycott them altogether. Plus I fricking hate Foreigner, and that is a staple of generic classic rock radio.

In search of a change, what are your favorite radio stations and what do they play?

Most bands = bands you hear on the radio?

Pavement started off great and actually got better towards the end before realizing it was time to cut it off.

Yo La Tengo continues to put out amazing material with every new album over the past 20 years.

Guided By Voices is the epitome of continued, unrelenting success as far as strong albums go. Every album over the past 20+ years is above average, at least.
