It seems Grand Isle has been absolutely getting slammed the past few hours
I know a lot of people have property there. Put all the updates and pictures you know of here.

We talked to a couple folks who stayed down there, they said it was REAL. This is a video we got from Buggy n them last night, I'm sure it's way worst now.

A guy I went to HS with is a coach down there. I hope all is well. I get the impression that unlike people from NOLA, GI people don't really have an option to stay (within reason).

I dont see how anyone lives full time in GI. Having a camp down there would be cool but no way my primary residence would be there. Will insurance companies even write policies in that area? For homeowners ins. or flood ins.?

I still haven't canceled my plans to go to GI this weekend. The people I talked to while they were evacuating seemed to think everything would be fine by Friday.

Yes. For our camp it's real high. Our neighbor is a state trooper and he and his family live there.
