I drove from denham springs to Hammond in a driving rainstorm. Get to Hammond and it’s coming down in sheets. I go run my errands and get soaked in the process, turn down my street and…not a drop LOL

unbelievable

Ditto. Had quite a bit of loud thunder this afternoon but not a drop of rain.

I got 1/2" of rain Sunday with the cool front, but it's hardly moved the needle. Grass is still crunchy everywhere that I haven't watered. To make things worse, I've had armyworms and web worms go after the stresses turf. Been a frustrating few months for lawn care.

Got 1/32 of an inch with the front. Don't believe we have gotten an inch in two months.

Been watering the garden every single day for the past month. It’s getting old.

It's been super dry even for October.

My little weather system is saying we've had about an inch of rain this month. Normal is closer to four inches.

Supposedly Sunday we're due.

It’s getting a little cloudy here in Westlake. Who knows? Maybe we’ll be blessed with some cloud gravy today.
