I need to create new beds from scratch and I figure I need 300 cubic feet or about 11 yards of mulch to do what I want. I'd rather not have to buy 150 or so bags of mulch and would prefer to get a truck load. So far the place I've checked are either out or only have red. I would prefer brown/natural wood mulch. Any suggestions?

Was thinking the same thing. I got 2 yards of soil on Sunday and built a 30 foot long flower bed with it. 20 yards would be a triple axle dump truck. F- that.

i had to take the whole truckload
i'll spread about half of it on bare areas where the grass wont grow and dress up around my big oaks. you'd be surprised how fast it goes when you dress about 6" thick under a 30' oak canopy

the rest will be there when i need it next year LOL

I saw the sign at Leisure Living on 44 that says they deliver mulch and what not. Would be worth a call to see what they have

ETA: It might be called something else now. I just saw the sign last Friday when I passed and had to do a flowerbed on Saturday.
