I’d send some pics and details to a few places local or otherwise and get estimates of value. I would not do Circa1857, Facebook Market or Craigslist if you really think its higher end and very old. Look on Inessa Stewart and Fireside Antiques and maybe they’ll tell you something.
Try eBay. I have some of my parents’ furniture to sell now and I checked there just to get going prices. Tell City dining furniture, appliances, and some French provincial stuff is what I have. Buyers and goodwill getting the rest of stuff.

I agree. Odd piece of furniture to import or bring with you from half the world away. Anybody that needed one could easily build a new one when they got to their destination.
