What happened to Black Cow Manure?

Black Cow manure use to be the best. It was real dirt and manure. Picked up some the other day and it is now just like all the other crap they sell as "manure" or "top soil". Anyone know of anything like the old Black Cow?

I don't know different commercial product to replace it, but I did notice the bags I bought this year seemed weak. More like garden soil than typical. I see some Internet reviews that say the same thing.

And why has the price of "top soil" aka wet mulch, gone sky high?

I think the plant that sold the dehydrated manure went out of business a few years ago. Black Kow still sells manure but it has changed

This years crop was crap, but not the crap I wanted.
The truth though, it's still gunna grow stuff, I just might have to fertilize more. 90% of the mix is about holding water the right way...

And every place in my area has no peat moss. First year I’ve had a peat moss free garden

I was having the same problem but I found some great 3.8 cu ft bags at one of the local Ace hardware stores that is around a 40 minute drive from my house.
