Saturday was 3 birthday parties
Sunday was pull out the inflatable pool and let them wear themselves out while we do some cooking and cleaning

Just gotta get one more truss up and 6 pieces of C Purlin welded on. The back half that is welded in the picture will have R Panel roofing, and the front is just going to have the welded wire paneling. It'll keep predatory birds out during the day and the homeowner says he puts the chickens in the coup at night. Plus the pig will be in the pen at all times.

Went fishing. 20# blue cat, 15# saltwater stripe and half a dozen 4-7# hybrid stripe. Home by eleven. Mowed the yard and fought with the Sandman until bedtime.

Did I mention using or buying a skid steer recently? I've done a couple of jobs recently that required one but I don't recall mentioning a skid steer. And funny enough, I was looking to see how much a skid steer and an excavator cost within the last week.

The economics behind renting vs. owning comes down to if you rent either machine more than twice in a month, you've made your monthly payment on owning the machine. I'm really hoping to get to a point very soon where we own one of each. Bobcat has a finance deal currently going 0%, $0 down for 60 months on a skid steer. Kubota has the same offer on excavators. Very enticing but I'm not there yet.

I will be purchasing a gooseneck trailer sooner than later however.

And unfortunately I'm west of Fort Worth so I probably wouldn't make it to Hammond to use it at your place.

I mixed you up with someone else LOL.
Very cool with your new business I’m a contractor (or I was until a few weeks ago). All we owned was a backhoe and we rented or subbed everything else. I think you have a good plan, learn everything you can about field repairs on that bobcat it makes a huge difference to your bottom line.

Keep us posted with your projects I bet you will do really well. Just keep your overhead down
