I could have sworn I posted it.
I made a little sheath for it out of an old boot polish bag I’ve had since the 90’s. I might yank the rivets and stitch the edge. Those rivets look trashy AF.

replaced drapes in living room (bay window) and den (large window)...
used drop clothes and new rods n hangers...
they turned out great!...
daughter gave me the idea as she and SIL did it at their home...
very pleased for a fraction of the cost of new drapes...
then had to dig out the fricking ditch, with all the leaves it wasn't draining like it normally does...
now a cold one and watching the Saints game...

Nothing crazy but I built a little wine rack display for a wall in pantry

Building a small shed/shop in my backyard. Unfortunately this project has gone on for too many weekends already.

I’d been putting off mortising the old cypress doors I hung a while back for the antique lock sets my wife wanted. I walked in on her dropping a 2 the other day, so she demanded locks stat.
Next up, finishing the doors and installing the hardware.

Figured I would bump this thread instead of starting a new one.
A few thing's i've been working on.
This wood was on the floor in the garage after the house was built. It's been sitting there for over 15 years. Finally decided to do something with it.
Also put up a new bird mansion this weekend. The squirrel baffle wasn't quite as "round" as it should be but, hope it works.

I've been needing to finish up my base moulding. Took weekends off from hunting season to replace flooring, countertops, cabinets, and moulding. Did the moulding around the doors back in December and haven't touched it again since.
Saturday I pressured washed the air intake vent. I normally hose/scrub it off every time I change the filter but it has always looked dirty even after. I guess instead of cleaning it properly the former homeowner spray painted over all the dirt and such on it.

I need to paint my baseboards badly. My kids and dogs have just mutilated them.
Thinking about paying someone to do it though
