First this broccoli looking stuff:

This next one is my main issue. It grows like crazy in one section of my yard. This is about 10 days of growth. It started growing around mid February I think.

I used the Cleggs cocktail hard on it and nothing. Would MSM kill it?

The first one is marsh parsley. The second one based on the first picture with the solid white stem and all of the leaves coming off of it leads to believe it is wild onion or garlic. Pull it and smell it and you'll know. If it is then MSM will take care of it.

The last one is either Dallisgrass or Crab grass.

It’s not. I’ve dealt with that. The picture does make it look like it though.

I see how the wide leaf blade can make it look like that but Daliisgrass grows in bunches and crabgrass would have a hairy rolled ligule.

You learnt me something.... On a side note, your lawn mower blades are nice and sharp.

It should. It isn't directly listed on the label but marsh parsley is a member of the carrot family and MSM works on wild carrot.

Ronk, will Atrazine kill it? Also, I have several pesty spots of clover growing in my lawn that I have sprayed several times with Atrazine to no avail. What should I use on it?

I like how you post like 4 or 5 times a year probably and this is how you choose to share it with us.

I use tax day as a cut off for spraying atrazine. It works better on winter weeds/grasses. After April 15th I would completely switch to a warmer season herbicide like MSM.

I hit my clover with MSM and waited 3 weeks and hit it with 2-4D after that.

Not sure which one worked but that shite is gone and what is left of my shitty bermuda is looking pretty solid.

Waiting to nuke and sod though but figured I offer some 2 cents.

MSM works quite a bit slower, 2-4D goes to work in a couple of days in my experience.

ronk, would you recommend 24D to spot spray St.Aug lawn right now or stick with MSM?

Where do you reside? In Baton Rouge, Cleggs, Woener Turf, I think Plant Tech.

You can order it from Amazon - MSM Turf, 2 oz bottle, $25 - will last several years.

Temps are starting to warm up so I’d go msm.

Craw, what’s your thoughts?
