Will this be effective on centipede or should you always mix the 2? I have wfz but not atrazine atm.

It'll still be effective for broadleaf weed control. But you won't get the effect on grassy weeds like Poa that is controlled by atrazine.

Is there a liquid that will control both? Without having to mix the wfz/atrazine.

Typically it’s one or the other unless you go non selective with a full nuke (Round up).

I can attest to this on bermuda. I used WFZ+surfactant because my bermuda is starting to green up and atrazine isn't labeled for active bermuda. It knocked all the broad leaf junk down fast but didn't touch the poa. What can i used for poa in bermuda as a spot treatment right now? Too cool for celsuis? MSM? Nuclear option/he who shall not be named?

Look for “Image kills Nutsedge” at any big box store. Use when temps are between 45-90°

If you are in Baton Rouge you can pick up atrazine at Clegg's or Louisiana Nursery. No need to order it online.

With soil temps rising if you scalp and continue to mow low then that will speed up the decline of poa.

If you have Poa + broadleafs mixing the 2 is way to go.

I’m going to try something called Negate on the Poa. Suggested by another poster in another thread

Just make sure you are using it on Bermudagrass or zoysia, and not centipede or St Augustine.

Yes you can.

As I understand it, their is an added synergistic effect when combining the 2 herbicides, as opposed to using them singly, but they are both effective herbicides when used by themselves.
