I’m working a job that requires a walkway on a steep slope. The slope ends in large retention pond which flows into the Abita River so water level fluctuations are pretty large. Anyway, saying that because the bank is constantly moving.
Once I put the walkway in, I’m looking for deep rooted shrubs and trees to keep the bank in place for as long as possible.

Any thoughts on tree and shrub types? Again I’m in SELA.
