I have torpedo grass in St Aug that has begun spreading rapidly. I did a search on here as well as a google search. My options don't seem too good due to it being in St Aug grass. I didn't find what I wanted searching here-I'm not saying it doesn't exist here only that I've not found it. I am looking to hear from the experts here on how to address this problem. Thanks.

I have tons of experience with torpedo in St Aug. My first, somewhat PTSD, suggestion is just move to a new house. Seriously. That's what I did.

Option B is to totally nuke your lawn where the torpedo is and a good 15' beyond that. Keep srpaying until you are damn sure that it's dead. Then re-sod. However, If it is creeping in from a neighbor, you are screwed. Just move. Or totally nuke your entire yard and re-sod with Zoysia, which torpedo can be somewhat "managed" in.

Neighbor brought in river sand to level his yard and brought in Torpedo. Absolutely nothing works excepting nuking your yard, and then his. If you just nuke yours, it'll come back. Good luck to you.

Round up the whole area, wait two weeks and round up again. Resod. If it’s coming from a neighbor you’ll want to burn down their house.

It’s such a bad issue I wish someone could develop something to control it in centipede/st aug.

I have it in a few spots and I just keep it sprayed with sethoxydim. shite never goes away tho. I will have a different grass at my next house.

Thoughts and prayers. This is why everyone should have a Bermuda or Zoysia lawn.
