Today I learned that bermuda doesn't have to go dormant

...and that you can put weed and feed (of all things) on your lawn every month of the year.
Is this guy trolling?!
*He's in Houston where it got down to 20 in January. He also showed were 3-5" of snow buried his yard.
Just a dumb thread, but I am intrigued....

There is a cat, Michael Vargas, in Royse City that always posts pictures of his lawn and he claims it is summer green all year long. I'm not sure if I believe him. I'm never in Royse City but I'm tempted to drive every street until I find it.

Yeah, it doesn't work like that at least up here in TN.
I might could believe it in Houston, where it would die off and come back as the ground would stay much warmer there in the winter but not further north.

The bermuda here at our neighborhood never goes dormant and it is beautiful year round

Mine is pretty healthy and I put her to sleep in October every year for 4-5 months. I can’t imagine I’d be successful pushing it through the winter months. I have thought about grass paint though, could they be doing that and faking it?

What PGR is he getting at big box stores?

'Not sure but it just never gets cold here long enough for it to turn brown.
We have St Augustine at all the houses but there is a massive green space in the middle of our community that is for events, football, kids, whatever. It's Bermuda and it is spectacular.
