St. Augustine, centipede, and Bermuda

Plus a ton of weeds.

Whats the best way to make my yard one type of grass without scraping the yard and buying sod? I don't care which type. I just want consistency.

Cut it short and often and apply high N and you'll get bermuda.

Well, I live on some acres, so, if it’s green, it’s good to go.

LOL I have st aug, centipede, Bahia and Bermuda growing in various spots/tracts along with various and sundry clovers and weeds.

It all looks green when it’s mowed

For the best result scalp it, level it and sod it. Now if you have time on and patience on your side you can scalp it, level it and then broadcast seeds. This is what I did with Bermuda. After about two years I am really seeing the fruits of my labor. Now you will need to water once you put seeds down. A mixture of MSMA and 2-4-D will kill everything but Bermuda once grass start growing.

It takes time and money but a nice weed free lawn is MUCH easier to care for.
