Looking to replace existing tub, and install tall soaking tub. Wife and I are both tall, 6'3 and 5'11. Only have 59' length by 31' width for tub space... and want to maximize the depth for it. Currently 15' depth is what we have (we don't fit). Japanese style spa soaking is her interest, but it seems limited search wise from big box stores, straight to 3k and up high end tubs.

Any experience of where to buy is appreciated.

When I redid our bath I installed a Clarke soaker tub. I'm sure it's not the biggest around. Not sure how big you need but I'm short...feels like a pool to me.

It fits a 60 inch opening and that's all the room I had. Also, it didn't break the bank. It came from Luters supply in Ms.

Kohler Tea for Two. Deep soaker, not terribly expensive.

You didn't mention where you are located.

LCR has a showroom with a variety of nice tubs in Lafayette.

Senior citizen websites seem to favor badass tubs with doors

Might be exactly what you’re looking for.

I bought this one when I renovated our master. Its pretty deep. I havent taken a bath in it yet so not sure how I would fit in it. My wife is 5'6 and no complaint about it being too small.

Had replaced a Jacuzzi with this soaker tub. This picture was before I finished.

That tub is 68" long. Holds 40 gallons of water. I'm 6' tall and this is the first tub I been in that I can lay out in. Love the hell out of it.

I bought it off amazon back on last Black Friday. Got it less then half price. Paid only $658 shipped.

just keep in mind the water heater capacity is just barely enough to fill one average level tub so if you go deep soak or luxury deeper soaking then you most likely need to add another water heater or replace yours with two 50 gallon heaters just so you can fill it up once.

most people never stop to consider the amount of hot water they have to fill a tub. i have heard adding an all electric tankless heater to the line feeding the tub can also be an option so you dont run out of hot water to fill a deep tub

I have only a 40 gallon heater. Yes, I drain it, but I have the temp set at 125F on it. Never did have a dish washer in the house. Wife never wanted one. I'm sure if I raise the temp, I would have more then enough hot water and then some.
