I get it if you don't have the money, but $2,000 is so cheap considering what you're buying. Be safe!

Therefore I decided on the PCS 1.75hp. I might decide later that I need the 3hp, but for now the 1.75 will be better than what I have! Headed to pick her up tomorrow!

Assuming you are in the BR area, where did you purchase the SawStop?

Picked up my 3hp pcs last week at PMC in Hammond. Their closest local dealer. They Were very helpful and knowledgeable. Sales guy even gave me his dado insert that he ordered for himself since they had just sold out.

The packaging and instructions from sawstop are worth the price by itself absolutely top notch. Every manufacturer could learn something from them.

I’m right outside of BR and while I did go to PMC last week and they do have stock, I ended up finding one used a short drive away and saved a good bit.

Using the money saved to get a new dust collector

Can you say who to consider that was that much cheaper than PMC?

I have the 3hp, but honestly think you'll have no issues with the 1.75 hp. Just be smart and don't try to rip 3" thick hard maple all day and you'll probably never have an issue.

I jumped on one that I found on Facebook marketplace.
They don’t show up very often and when they do, they sell quick.
