T1-11 plywood - 4 ft x 9 ft

Anyone aware of a company in the Baton Rouge metro area that carries 4 ft x 9 ft T1-11 plywood?
I’m going convert a 10 x 20 storage room with 9 foot heigh ceiling, attached to the house, into a functional hobby wood workshop/mini mancave. The room interior has dry wall (gypsum board), but is non-insulated so I plan to remove the drywall, insulate the walls, and replace the drywall with T1-11, primarily for aesthetics. I’ll need 13 sheets as one 10 ft “wall” is a roll up metal door (I’ll insulate that as well).
I realize 4 x 8 T1-11 is readily available locally but I’d prefer not splice a 1 foot piece If I don’t have to.
As a follow up what thickness of plywood (11/32, 19/32, ..l?) do you think I would need as I plan to install wall cabinets, shelves, French Cleats etc and it would nice not to have to anchor everything into wall studs.
I’m open to other suggestions for material other than T1-11. I don’t care for the look of OSB plywood, and if I used that material I’d likely paint it, but not totally opposed to it.

Have you called a lumber store like State Lumber on Highland? When I was building one of my subs turned me on to them. He said they can get anything if it is made

Stines or Holmes can usually get anything you’re looking for as well within a couple days.
I’m not sure either have it “in-stock” though.

I’ll give State Lumber a call - been years since I’ve been in that store. I checked with Picou Lumber in Gonzales, they didn’t carry that size in stock, but could special order it but only in a bundle of 40 sheets, I need 13, and they said there is little demand for that size they so didn’t want to carry the balance in stock.

Not going to be available. Going to be a special mill run and that ain’t happening right now.
You can get the Hardie sheets 4x9. They have a couple patterns but I don’t think there is a t111 pattern. You can add batten strips to get a board and batten look.

Might be worth checking for 10' sheets.

Build shelves all the way around on all three walls and back them with regular plywood and use the t1 on top and bottom of the shelves/slat wall.

Leave drywall and have Spray foam insulation installed. Done 1 day

All, thanks for your suggestions.
Cracker - using spray foam was my first thought, but the job was so small (30 linear feet of wall) no company had any interest or the cost would be excessive - even DYI foam insulation kits were considerably more expensive than I would have thought, so removing the drywall, adding wall bat insulation and coming back with wood walls on top seem to be the most practical approach, plus opening the walls to insulate is going to allow me do a couple things (water, electrical, gas) while open.
Sounds like 4 x 8 sheets of T1-11 will be the way to go, with 1 foot splice, unless some does carry 4 x 10 as suggested. I’d rather remove a foot of material than add a foot.

Just FYI the line won’t likely line up. I had to install a soffit pin a job running longways so we had to use several sheets. Not one lined up exactly. Looked ok after painters got done but if you’re picky it might drive you crazy (like it did me). Probably spent half a day trying each different piece as we went to get best appearance and it still drove me crazy after we were done. Client liked it though so.....
Eta :
Oh yea....bought from state lumber so it wasn’t some crappy Home Depot stuff. The grain of the wood moves the cutting teeth just enough when they are running it

Thanks for that tip - good to know. I’m not OCD about such things, particularly as it pertains the interior of a workshop, but I’m going to go to State Lumber and see what my options are.

What about running bead plywood horizontally you will have a tongue and groove and all the little horizontal lines you won’t see the seams.

That’s an idea I hadn’t considered, I’ll look into it.
