Over the past few years my st aug is struggling and struggling bad. Mainly from neglect, this year the dollar weed other stuff has taken control. To the point I don't know if the st aug will make a comeback. Any suggestions on how/or if it can be resurrected?

Dollarweed can be controlled with several herbicides but make sure you have a surfactant mixed with it. Dollarweed has a waxy surface. If your St Aug is struggling I would apply a 2-2-1 fertilizer (20-20-10 or 10-10-5) after it is greened up. Then I would apply a 1/8-1/4 inch layer of peat moss. You'd be surprised what peat moss can do for a St Aug lawn.

It is about 1.5 acres, how would you peat moss an area that big?

Same way I’d level something that big. Drag it with a tractor or 4 wheeler. Or only do a smaller portion around the house.

Ronk answer is perfect, just don't mix the products in the spreader.

Noticed my yard starting to show a tad bit of green. I'm thinking in about 2 weeks it will be ready to start mowing. What yall thinking?

I already placed a low nitrogen and high potassium fertilizer down last week. The NPK is 7-0-20.
