Always the first sign for me that summer's death grip is starting slip.
With the rain we've had and cool snap next week, I'm guessing they'll start popping up any day now.

I just told my wife that. I plant those things everywhere to surprise myself the next year.

Still no sign of any yet, surprisingly . Even though my yard didn't need it, I mowed yesterday so I won't hit any in a week when they are starting to pop up. I live on an older homesite and they were either planted in the yard or migrated there or what once was a flowerbed long ago is now grass.

tf are they? Ima have to cut my grass again and hope I'm not running over any emerging flowerheads.

There's a yard in our garden district that usually has the first of the season. I may drive by there in a bit.

My white ones are up. I picked some last Friday to put on the table for one of my little girls birthday party.

None of the regular spots here have them yet.

When I lived in the middle of the woods in NWLA all the burrowing creatures would move the spider lilies around. I had about 5 acres of lawn and lilies would pop up everywhere then the next year they would be all be several feet over.

Yeah they been poppin here pretty good now. They just so late its anti-climactic so I didn't feel like bumping this thread.
Like watching a pot of water boil I'll never make a thread again about them.
