Soil Test Results: is my yard jacked up?

So this is just the front yard which gets the morning sun and loses it by noon because of tree coverage. It's pretty dry, no weeds, and could be a bit fuller with grass coverage. It doesn't look unhealthy but it could look nicer. I can post photos later on.

Add lime to your front yard before doing anything. Lowe's should have it.

Add 50lb of lime to your front yard per 1,000 sq feet then get another soil test in the fall to see how much more (if any) you’ll need.

Pelletized is fine, that bag per 800 sq feet should get you to 6.5 PH. 7 is optimal, but I’d get a soil test done after 6-8 months to see where you are.

Front yard sounds hella good for Camellias too. Morning sun, afternoon shade, low PH.

With all those minerals I'd imagine some great blooms are coming out of your garden

BB, did you do random samples throughout the yard or just a single location sample?

I just put down the lime yesterday.

What should I look at for getting potash?

Can i hand spread that? I'd rather not have to buy a drop spreader if I don't need to, unless you think it's a worthwhile investment. Wouldn't need anything more than a manual drop spreader.

Help me with the math here if you can. So this bag I found says it's 25 lbs of 0-0-62 muriate of potash:

Looking closely it says:

My frontyard potash recommendation is 2.94 lbs / 1,000 sq feet. What exactly am I going to do when applying this to my yard? Could I basically just do 15 servings of what they're asking over 1,000 sq feet? My sprayer is a 2 gallon pack so I would basically do 30 servings / 2,000 sq feet.

My backyard potash recommendation is 1.79 lbs / 1,000 sq feet, so roughly less than 20 servings / 2,000 sq feet in a two gallon sprayer.


I'm not sure if I'm using the math correctly or not.
