It looks like I have sod webworms again. Does anyone have a good treatment for eradicating them?

Do I need to get Granules or can I just use my liquid Talstar?

Talstar works well and will kill them immediately. You may need to spray again if there are eggs hatching.

You’ll likely need to spray weekly for about 3 weeks as the larval development stage, which causes the damage, is about 3 weeks.

Yes, as long as you keep them out of the yard 1-2 hours to let it dry.

Ive had luck with merit granules. Systemic with 3m residual ends the life cycle without retreatment.

You probably only did a spot treatment. So the rest of the yard is bifen free

Using it would be overkill

I had a one hell of a case of them last summer. I just got some hose end spray by Spectracide at the Walmart. I treated them a couple of times about a week apart and they never came back. Don’t try to outthink this…..just get something and spray tomorrow, as they can eat grass to bare ground in a hurry.
