Anyone have these? Current situation is a lockable knob and deadbolt above. Any suggestions?

Looking for smart, keypad, able to control from phone without having to have/buy an extra hub, and either has dead bolt and regular locking knob or at least big enough to cover current holes.

We have the Yale from Best Buy.
Game changer.
Family members/friends have their own codes, auto-locks in 5 mins, can control from anywhere in the world, hooks up with our Nest app. Replaced over existing old school deadbolt.

It’s worth every penny.

What model? Does it need any extra hubs to be useful or can you just control from your phone?

What model? Do you need a separate hub to control it or can you control from keypad and phone? Don’t want to get an extra hub or anything just to control this

Hub is how it connects to your network and thus your phone.

Why don’t you want a hub? Hue lights, Arlo cameras, they all have some sort of home base

Whatever brand you get, you are going to want only a deadbolt on that door.

Pointless to be able to remotely unlock the deadbolt if the knob gets accidentally locked.

You just have to buy a nest connect, it just plugs into a standard electrical outlet. Then you can control it from the nest app or the keypad.

Google “nest x Yale” lock, there is only one model.

Yeah this is what it has. Didn’t know if that was the same as a hub. Our’s came with it in the box.
