Scale in Shower Drain

I’ve got an impressive amount of scale in the pipe of my shower drain. Trying vinegar but may need a bigger gun.
How much should I dilute muriatic acid (31% HCl) in order to make it safe for my pipes while still being effective at dissolving the scale?

Try CLR?
That is the next step IMO

Same battle currently. CLR didn’t do much and neither did vinegar/baking soda. I think I either need a stronger chemical compound or a rooter service to clean out the drain which is narrow deep down.

CLR should eventually get it done. You may want to invest a couple hundred bucks in getting someone to run a camera through the pipes to make sure something else isn’t going on.

Go with a plumber. Stronger chemicals may damage older pipes and fittings.
