Rough sawn lumber

Is there a lumberyard in or around BR that has rough sawn wood? I don't really care what kind of wood, I just want something other than pine to work with. I can make the project fit the wood.

Service Lumber and Supply near the old Cortana Mall has some rough cut lumber of various tree species. Ask to go into their warehouse in the back.

Triple Sons in larose going to Grad Isle. they are a mill and a yard. they have everything! if its odd size, they have it or cut it for you. Got my 4 x 10 x 20 beams and my 10 X 10 X 16 post for my porch there. they have good prices too!
Most lumber yards use them for bigger stuff.

Not really interested in Cypress but for a good price I would use it. Hardwoods are more what I am getting into.
Got to put all these whiteside bits, planer and jointer to use.

I’ve used Service Lumber a lot, but depending on the day they won’t always let you pick through like I would like to do. Depends a bit on the mood of the warehouse guy that day. Also, a lot of their stuff is planed down to 13/16” for 4/4 material. Wish they had truly rough stock.
