So like a lot of south Louisiana folks, we've got live oaks around here and some roots are cracking my driveway. I have a bag of quikrete. What I'm thinking of doing is just spooning out a little bit of quikrete into the cracks and carefully filling it as much as I can and letting the rain do the rest. What could go wrong, I see a lot of upside to it for not a lot of money. Obviously it wouldn't look perfect, but I'm not going for perfect right now.

For smaller cracks, I've used Magic Crack Filler. If your cracks are bigger, it might not work as well.

Quikrete makes a nice cement Crack repair that comes in a squeezable caulk style tube. Easy.

Thanks.. I'm just a big believer in I like to make the best use out of things I obtain for cheap, or better yet free. Neighbor threw away half a bag of ready mix after extending his back patio so I was thinking how I could stretch this. Half a bag isn't much to do anything else.
