Repairing a chair recliner mechanism

My beloved napping spot in my man corner, has broken. Absolutely nothing is wrong with any other part of the chair. The main cross bar, that attaches to the handle and goes across, snapped in half and with it took out a few plastic bushings.
How feasible is it to repair the mechanism? Can you order parts online or are they sold as complete mechanisms?

It all depends on the manufacturer and how long they stock parts. "Lifetime warranty" means the lifetime of their stock, or so it seems.
Contact the store you bought it from and go from there.
Good luck!

I would think that's your best place to start and if you know the manufacturer, that would also help if parts are available.
There are also 3rd party parts places that sell replacement parts for recliners that I've used in the past, but that was mostly for pull handles and the sleeved wiring to release the mechanisms so they reclined, not so much integral mechanical parts.

My father couldn't get his repaired a while back so he brought it to a local fab shop and had them weld the cracked frame back together instead of buying a new chair like a normal person would do.
