Raised shed floor

I am going to be building a raised shed and wanted to get some input on doing the floor the right way with a vapor barrier. I will install some type of split unit A/C. Should I also insulate the floor or will a subfloor along with a vapor barrier then the permanent floor be fine?

I don't know about the vapor barrier, but be sure to put something around the bottom of it or you're goign to be housing some Coons or Armadillos under there.

The simplest way would be to turtle back the ground a little under the build site so it doesn’t hold water. Then put down some 12 or 15 mil PE sheeting over it. You can lay down some gravel over it, but make sure you don’t puncture the sheeting.

Just go old school. Leave it open and don't bother insulating the floor.

Use treated plywood for the floor

Keep in mind that when you run the ac, water vapor can/will condense on the hot, humid side of your vapor barrier. If you install vinyl flooring and keep it cold all the time, your subfloor will rot.
I would build it on a concrete slab if possible.
If not, use PT joists and advantech or PT subfloor. If you’re running the ac infrequently and don’t install flooring that acts like a vapor barrier, you’ll probably be fine leaving it open (with vapor barrier under the subfloor)
