What kind of warranty comes with the home?

A minimum 1/2/10 warranty.
I am scheduling the same inspector to come out 10months after close to inspect again, which I will submit before the end of year 1 to be fixed.

It was but it was great knowing about it. An inspector isn't snaking pipes with a camera to check for damage like a plumber.
I would definitely confirm with your plumber that he has a camera to do this. The owner of the homes plumber didn't when we told him about the problem we found. Our plumber laughed

This. First year I was putting up Christmas lights I noticed 2” gaps underneath the soffits where the roof and brick intersect on an angle. Kind of hard to explain. Anyway, I put spray foam in there, let it dry, sanded it, then painted it to match the fascia. Glad I saw it though. Colonies of squirrels, lizards and birds could fit through there.

What a day. Home inspector and I were there from 2 until 6:15. Plumber and Electric both came and went in an hour. Having both of them roll through while the home inspector was there allowed for them to collaborate which was awesome because they would agree on certain things together.
Overall, very minor findings, none of them were due to cutting corners and just simple things overlooked.
All 3 of them said this was a very well built house. I suspected this particular home was cared for a bit more than some of the others as it was this builder submission into the parade of homes a few months ago.

Go in before they closed up the walls and clean all the trash, debris, etc. out of the walls and from behind the tubs and showers. Most building contractors and their subs are slobs.
Make sure you know where the cut-offs are for your power and water. Don’t wait until an emergency.
Go to the trash or burn pile and pickup the manuals for your appliances.
