Outdoor TV Mount

I'm looking to mount a 50 to 60" LED TV (~60/70 lbs) onto one of my patio walls (hardie plank, no brick). I'd like the ability to pull the TV away from the wall, move side to side, and tilt if needed. There are so many options. What are some of the recommended brands based on your experience?

Whatever is cheapest and fits your needs on amazon.

You’re wayyyy overestimating the weight of a 50-60” tv. You’re looking at closer to 40lbs.

I have this one for our 55" mounted to brick and it works great, you can set the set the actuator to the weight of the TV so it moves up and down easily. It's strong and well built. I didn't pay that though. Look around.
As far as weight goes it varies by TV. My 55" outside weighs about 30 pounds, but my 65" inside weighs 93 pounds.

Thanks everyone...yeah, my bad as the TV is more in the 35 lb range. (I was thinking of my plasma TV which is much heavier)

Several years ago I was thinking of doing the same thing on a shop sitting wall but was limited on wall space. The wife suggested getting a rolling TV stand like they use in class rooms. I did, mounted it and can now roll the TV around anywhere to suit my needs.

I always get something rated to hold more weight than necessary, be it wall toggles or the mount itself. If you re-position it, pull on it, etc that's additional weight. There's also the possibility of the wall becoming weak over time due to moisture, materials, etc. You'll never be in the wrong mounting a 40lb object with materials rated for 80lbs.
Sanus makes a full motion mount for large TVs that's probably at every BestBuy in America.

I used a ceiling mount on my patio. Didn’t feel like fooling with mounting in brick. Works well for us.
