I think the main draw to Broadmoor is the lot size and home size, not anything “social”. If my wife and I want to be social, we drive 4 miles down Goodwood to Government Street. I can get to White Star from my house in 10-12 minutes. Being able to walk there isn’t worth doubling my house note to me.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure I’d love living in Mid-City. I also love living in Broadmoor way more than I expected when I bought my house.

Been living in Broadmoor since 2000,love my large lot size.No crime to speak of.The older retirees are dying and new families are moving in. During LSU football games there is practically no traffic on Goodwood.Very quiet area.

The price per sq ft is pretty low so you could really hit it big on resale value if the trend continues.

I've been watching this area for investments. It might not be a bad neighborhood to buy, rent and hold for a bit. I'm just not seeing any good ARV prices.
