Should be stated on the product label, but it won’t be activated until watered into the soil where the weed seeds are. Labels will typically state 1/2 inch water, rainfall or sprinkler irrigation, and erratic weed control may occur if not watered in within 30 days of application. It doesn’t need to watered in immediately, but it won’t be effective until done so.
