Husky 14" chainsaw and 10" pole saw. No issues. Both have been good. They use the same battery.

I have a kobalt pole saw and chainsaw both 40v

I’ve been impressed with them. Use the pole saw all the time. I leave the middle section out most of the time (it’s 3 sections).

Ryobi has upped their game although it's still pretty much 3rd tier.

Based on what, though (rhetorical question)? Crap from Harbor Freight "works."

Whatever you buy that's battery powered, you're being shoved into their ecosystem, so check your satisfaction with the battery powered drill, the reciprocating saw, etc. You don't need them now, but you don't want a battery powered Ego device, a Craftsman, and a Ryobi.

And don't be afraid of generic batteries from eBay. It's also almost Memorial day, so there will be sales on tool kits with multiple batteries (the high capacity batteries are worth more than the tools themselves in many cases.)

have the 20v Max dewalt line of tools and the dewalt chainsaw gets the job done.

Have this one too, no complaints, if a big tree needs to be cut down I’m hiring that done, but it’s great for limbs and random shite around the yard. Use it frequently

Might be okay for occasional use.

If you don't understand the biggest maintenance item on any chainsaw is keeping the chain sharp, you probably don't use it all that much.

So in that case you are not using it that much at all, and an electric chain saw could be okay for light use.
