It’s easy as can be to clean. Just hit it with water while it’s still hot and scrape it off, then wipe it with oil. It’s just a few minutes max.

It really isn’t bad.

While still hot, I scrape mine with Dexter scraper. Clean with wet paper towel and the oil it.

Takes 3 minutes.

Wife just bought me the 30 inch two burner with hood. Haven’t opened yet, thinking about exchanging for 36, for $100 more.

Also interested in the model with air fryer. Anyone have one of these? 30 inch with air fry is $200 more.

Just sold my 4 burner blackstone to my neighbor. Just wasn't using it enough.

Got a pit boss 850 series instead. Easier for meal prep.

if yours was well seasoned your neighbor got a better griddle than he could buying new. One of my guys gave me his old one and it’s slick as snail snot. I wouldn’t trade it for a new one if there was money coming back

Yeah, he got a smoking deal (we got it for free so I didn't mind pricing to sell). I took care of it and reseasoned it as needed.

Nevermind. I have one that I would give away. They are easy to clean.

You can get a lot done with with just steel wool and some water while it is hot. I'm lazy and steal Grill Brite from work and just use that. It is a base that is heat activated that pulls all the shite right off. You just have to use an acid like vinegar or lemon juice to neutralize it

I have the same and the drain hole sucks. I thought maybe it was just me, and I didn’t have it level enough/too sloped I keep messing with it to try to get it to drain better.

Blackstone now makes a 20" griddle with a non stick surface.

the new ones can come with a drop down lid like a grill. To me that defeats the purpose of the open plancha (hot sear, browning)

The drop down lid is not really intended for cooking while down, it’s just an easier way to cover it when not using
