Is it too late to spray? Will it kill my good grass for the summer?

Sprayed the purple bottle Image a few weeks ago. Worked like a charm.

Mind posting a picture of your grass?

High Nitrogen fertilizer will kill the clover. You are better off digging up the Dallis grass from the root and adding sand.

Do you have bermuda or centipede/st aug. if bermuda you can use msma or tribute. If centipede/st aug then dig.
It’s not too late to spray for broad leafs though. Use manor. Cheap and will kill most broad leafs.

6 acres? You’re f’ed. Tribute is way to expensive for 6 acres.

Manor is cheap though if you need to control broadleafs on 6 acres. Not sure how you’d do the LTA though.

Msma is one of the few selects that will kill Dallas and is safe for Bermuda. Dallas is a bitch.

FYI, It's Dallis grass, not dallas.

Six acres of bermuda? If you want it to be pristine, you need to hire a grounds crew. That's not a DIY project.

That's 4.5 football fields.

I've got a backyard full of either Dallis grass or crabgrass. I'm in North Dallas. Should I just nuke the whole thing and start over? It was St Augustine at one point.

Then it wasn't Dallis grass.

I'm in the process of removing sections of it in my front yard myself. I hate to say this, but the best way to get rid of it is what I'm doing: buy some sod pieces and dig up the dallisgrass patches. Replace the dug up sections with new sod.

The key is to get the whole piece (roots and all) up. Also discovered that I have grubs eating sections of my yard up... Taking care of that part as well.

Grubs are easy. Apply grubex or merit if you want liquid apps and arena if granular. It takes 6-8 grubs per square foot to cause damage. Just because you see grubs doesn’t mean they are damaging the lawn.
