Has anyone had to move their shutoff valve? It's directly behind the toilet and doesn't leave clearance for at least most toilets. Perhaps there is one out there, but I haven't found it yet.

Yes. Actually had to flip it around from 1 side to the other. After we jettisoned the kid we enlarged the bathroom to fit a "water closet". Had to move supply line to other side of toilet because of the addition of a door. If you have rudimentary plumbing skills you can handle it. Toughest part was finishing the drywall without pulling the toilet. In retrospect should have just pulled the damn thing and gone got a new wax ring.

You relocated a water line in the wall behind sheet rock but didn’t want to remove two screws from the toilet base??

What are you trying to do here OP? You can’t install a different toilet? Or just hard to reach to shut off? Is it copper, pex, or something else coming from the wall? If it’s pex out of the wall this is an extremely easy DIY project to move. If copper, it’s a potentially pretty easy plumber job to have them just add an external extension.

If you want to do this internally behind the wall it’s not going to be cheap unless you want to just add a wood trim piece or something to cover the drywall hole.

I know right? Actually is wasn't the 2 screws. I had been to Ace 3 times that day for other stuff and forgot to pick up a ring every time (ingested a lot of chemicals in the 80"s). So when I was ready to get after it I just wanted to get it done and not have to go back out.

Why would you need to do move it? You may be trying to replace the toilet with the wrong size toilet?
