You’re speaking about Dan Gill who used to have the radio show. Not sure if he answers emails or not anymore. Website says he’s retired.

Ha. I wish. I forget things and it’s good to have other extremely knowledgeable posters like you and craw to help the lawn bros.

I’m pretty sure Dan Gill still does the radio call in show on Saturday morn. I’ve emailed him a few times with pics and he still responds in few days, but that’s just fine with us retirees.

Plant diseases - Dr. Raj Singh LINK - he is the director of the plant diagostic center, LSU AgCenter LINK
Weeds - going to suggest Dr. Ron Strahan LINK who is/was weed extension specialist with the LSUAgCenter. He now is northwest regional director with the AgCenter (now does administrative work) - it’s possible he’ll direct you to someone else that has taken over his previous weed responsibilities, and I don’t know who that is or even if they’ve hired someone yet to do this, but he’ll steer you in the right direction, though he’ll likely answer any questions on weeds you have.
They’ll answer your questions via email.
