If you think some contractors are bad, check out the funeral industry for having monopolies on a market.

Who else would they bid against? All licensed trades such as plumbers and electricians are competing for bids among themselves. Any trade where there are multiple contractors can hardly be considered a monopoly.

Same way in Alabama. You have to have a specialty pool license. How do you get a specialty pool license you may ask? Build 3 pools.
