After reading the reviews I was looking for any additional feedback on this leaf blower from Home Depot?

My old husqvarna has seen it's last day, I'm sick of changing the fuel line every year and won't pay another $100 to fix a $175 blower so looking to update.

Residential use but I want something powerful (and comfortable to use for a long time 15-20 minutes) to get leaves that settle deep into my Zoysia grass in the back yard

I used the small Echo backpack for yrs then stepped up to the 580 and it’s awesome. Very powerful and cut my time in half. Def recommend.

Worth every penny for moving large volumes/areas of leaves

If you're blowing leaves IN grass, get the biggest you can afford. I bought the PB8010 for blowing massive quantities of wet oak leaves, courtesy of my neighbor. I giggle when I use it, it's a bit silly honestly. You can blow leaves out the tree if you want....

Folk's yard guy has an 8010T and a 580H, just got a 770T. The 8010T is just for Fall leaves now, said it was too heavy for most yards and burned fuel quickly. For a regular residential use a 580 is plenty, dramatic difference if all you've used before is a handheld. If my PB-250LN ever dies I'd probably get a 580 or even the smaller 265 backpack.

It definitely drinks gas, and I'd agree it's overkill for most residential yards. It really just depends on how bad the OP's leaf problem is. My current yard could be done with a battery blower if it weren't for the leaves.

The battery blowers are getting better.

Just upgraded my 100mph 280cfm blower to a 190mph 730cfm blower. I have a small yard and multiple 40v batteries so not worried about running out of juice
