This has been popping up in my zoysia this year. I think it's nutsedge but I wanted to get the opinion of the board experts before I treated it. Thanks for the help!

That Zoysia looks like a lazy teenager. Slow to wake up.

It always takes it's sweet time. It'll be pretty healthy by the end of May.

Thanks for the help. I have some Sedgehammer on the way.

Dismiss is the only thing that kills the Nutsedge we have in Houston. Sedgehammer or anything else from HD/Lowes was completely ineffective. It's expensive, but a bottle will last a while.

It will. Celsius is better but a couple apps of msm will take care of it.

MSM will NOT kill chamberbitter. Atrazine or Celsius works.

I’m using the all-in-one chart that was posted a few weeks ago. The chart does not list MSM as a killer for chamberbitter. I’m just quoting the chart.

There's really no reason not to us AI for this stuff, though I do enjoy the comraderie here.
From Grok:
quote:

MSM Turf’s Fit: While MSM Turf may have some effect on chamberbitter as a broadleaf weed, its absence from recommended lists suggests it’s not the most effective. Celsius WG or a 2,4-D-based herbicide might offer better control, especially since chamberbitter’s rapid seed production requires quick, thorough action.
