Had tons of clover… I see some yellowing up… anything I can do further to get rid of the remainder?
The rule is, never take more than 1/3 off the blade. So if your grass is 3" go to 2" instead of 1.5
Once you've cut it at 2, then you can go down to 1.5 soon after.
If already low, please disregard.

If it doesn’t rain a .25 inch or so, give your lawn a good soak. You want it to dissolve and get into the soil.
put down scotts green max yesterday, gave it a soak. Will see how the back yard turns out before i do the front. Thanks for the help

My house is 4 years old and was sodded with St Aug. I was told the yard now has St Aug, bermuda and zoysia. How is that even possible? Any chance that can be fixed?

Birds? Though neither seed is all that viable..?

Do you pay someone to cut your yard? Did you rent a core aerator?
Bermuda is easier to explain then zoysia, it will grow anywhere. Zoysia is pretty difficult to get to grow from a seed comparatively, especially in established lawns. It's possible they were short a partial pallet and grabbed it by mistake.
The person who told you could also not really know what they're talking about too. Can it be fixed? Sure. Is it worth it? Probably not.

This guy is good with centipede and he addresses your issue:

Just laid down the Home Depot Turfbuilder 3x like 40-0-5 on some common Bermuda grass on a country house lawn of 40,000 sq ft that needed a major shot in the arm to restore the Bermuda lawn that was hammered by winter weeds and grass. Will see and report back in a couple weeks.

What fertilizer is everyone using in South LA for St Aug? I have used Scotts Turf Builder Southern Lawn Food in the past few years (April and June application and Milorganite in August) and just haven't been super impressed with the results. I end up with, in my opionion, a decent amount of dead thatch and just not a thick lush green yard like I used to have. Has the extreme weather over the last few years taken a toll or is there a better product out there (commonly available at Home depot, lowes, stines) that I should be using instead? Southern Lawn Food is a 32-0-10. AI suggested something closer to a 15-5-10 ratio. I think I am finally just gonna send in a soil sample to LSU ag unless there is a better recommendation and see what I need to do maybe?

16-4-8 from Site One.
Perfect. I have enough of the STB for one more application in June then will switch. Looks like the Lafayette location doesn't carry 16-4-8. Closest would be LESCO 24-2-11 would that work? Still worth sending in a soil test?

24-2-11 is also a good blend.
