Have had mine for 10 and it still starts on the first pull every time.
My 13 year old one was still running like a champ, but the handlebars rusted through on both sides.
Got an EGO back in May and it's been great thus far.

I went by K&D today and looked. They only had 3 they could sell. They were $889 and $989 with a composite deck (HRX). I didn’t get a price on the other one but it had a steel deck and was labeled commercial. They had a bunch of others but they were not able to sell them because of the stop order on those models.

A commercial-grade Toro will run about $2,000. It would probably easily outlast the Hondas though.

Sucks. My Husq with Honda motor is 11 years old and the deck is rotting out. Not sure how much longer she’ll hold up. I’ve been patching it with splash zone.

Might look around and see if someone has a deck available. I put an AWD Husqvarna mower out on the curb a while back, motor and a few other things were bad and didn't feel like messing with it but the deck was fine. Small engine shops often have yards full of parts, basicall a U-A-P for lawn equipment.

i'm not an e-whore but i think going electric isn't the worse thing for lawnmowers either as long as the battery life is within a reasonable range of gas.
I have the Ego Trimmer, Blower and Edger. I still prefer a gas mower for now. I do plan on getting one some day though. These electric mowers will only get better.

I wanted to get a Honda push mower back in late June. Lowe’s and HD already pulled them off the shelves. Bought an EGO and am very happy with it. Bought the EGO string trimmer, too. Love the easiness of both.

I got the trimmer with the Power Load and Line IQ. So damn easy to use.
