Good rain coming Wednesday for watering in.

It’s closer to “too late” than too early.
There’s never a “too early” with pre em.
24 hr soil temp of 69.4 in BR.
By the end of next week our five day average will likely be below 70°
I’ve read here that some winter weeds, specifically Poa, germinate at 70.

I put mine down last wednesday before the rain Thursday. You need to put it down today before tomorrows rain.

What pre emergent do you all use for St Aug down here?

Prodiamine and Dimension (dithopyr) are the most common and widely used - both are effective. Specticle is an excellent pre-emergent herbicide but on the expensive side. Some also use Simazine, which also has some post-emergent activity on weeds.
