I’ve done some minor things around the house. How hard is this? Any online tutorials?

We have some expensive solar lights in our front flower beds and they still suck. Would like some nice hardwired ones.

(One existing outlet under front porch.
One in garage and one on the back porch)

You will need to install a transformer, then use low voltage wire to go from there and then fixture to fixture. It’s not overly complicated, but does involve some time to get it buried and all

Do you need to cross any driveways or sidewalks? A driveway would be tough, but a sidewalk is not too bad. Both would make the job a little more complicated than without.

But otherwise it’s not too bad. Just get the equipment and wire and some labor.

Very simple project. like others stated sidewalks and drives are challenging. Otherwise, nothing to it

I second Volt. I installed a 6 light path kit last week. Very good quality, and I am satisfied with everything. Their website also has some good tutorial videos. I plan to expand on the system over time.

We have a sidewalk coming from our front door with flowerbeds on each side.

Where would the power come from?

I did it and was surprised how easy it was. There are a lot of videos out there to show you how to do it. The hardest part to me was choosing which light configuration to use to get the look I wanted; there are lots of options out there.

I used a WAC Lighting fixture that you can adjust the brightness and the beam spread with a screwdriver so I could use the same fixture for a variety of plants and features
