So when we moved into the house I had some extra mini blinds that I threw up. Well we keep the garage open a lot and there are thousands of dead bugs and webs in the mini blinds and it’s a massive mess. I want to replace them with something that looks nice, seals the windows from bugs getting trapped but is also easy to open when I’m working in the garage and want some extra light. I am leaning towards some kind of inside shutters but wanted to see other suggestions

Most of the houses 'round here use MAGA flags to cover garage or basement windows.

We have working shutters on the outside. We bought the house and the shutters were here.

I use white out film. Let’s light in, but can’t see through. Slightly tacky, but it is what it is

It's a damn garage, just put up some vinyl pull down shades and be done with it. Need outside light, give the bottom of the shade a slight tug and they roll up as far as you want. When done, pull the shade back down.

Inside shutters will be just as messy as blinds now are.

I put plantation shutters in the garage. Not perfect but better at keeping the bugs from croaking on the sill.

Just thumbtack rebel flags over them.
