I need to nuke my yard

Built a rock firepit in the backyard 7 years ago. Killed the grass first, laid down the "grass resistant" matt, then placed my rocks. Apparently, the matting was a waste of time and money because I've spent more time weeding than I've been able to enjoy.
What do yall suggest to just go scorched earth on this thing and get a few weeks between sprays?

Tractor Supply has something on the shelf with a high percentage of Glyphosate coming in at 53.8%. I don’t think regular everyday Roundup has that in it anymore. A heavy dose of Glyphosate sprayed on those weeds should kill the weeds real nice. Ortho makes a product called Ground Clear that my neighbor said worked well for him.

I have a very similar setup with fine crushed granite around my fire pit. Mine is usually trouble free but I may get some annual bluegrass if I forget a treatment. Here is what I do:
Kill with glyphosate or triclopyr. Imazapyr is the cheapest, readily-available soil sterilizer and will get you 4-6 months of no new growth. There are much better/more potent ones out there but they are expensive and may require a license.

If you are sure you NEVER want grass to grow there tractor supply has some product that sterilizes the ground. However, you can’t spray this product over tree roots either, because it will kill the tree. If you are interested in that, let me know and I’ll see if I can find the name of it.

I'm reading more and more that landscape professionals absolutely hate weed blocker mesh and say it does absolutely nothing but cause problems down the road and to just stop doing it.
Fine by me I can't afford the time and hassle to install it anyway

I have a gravel driveway that laughs at this statement.
No offense to you, just saying I've tried about everything and things start to grow back in weeks.

You can try Pramitol. It’s widely available and inexpensive but Amazon won’t ship it to Texas residential addresses. It’ll probably kill every tree within 50 feet too.
